HFH/Buffalo is the Buffalo, New York affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization.

Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with people in need to build and renovate decent, affordable housing. The houses then are sold to pre-qualified families at no profit and with no interest charged while Habitat holds the mortgages.

HFH/Buffalo is one of the largest HFH builders in the northeast. 

Habitat for Humanity Buffalo (HFHB) ReStore sells quality new and used furniture, appliances, building materials, and household items at a fraction of normal retail prices.

This new venture for HFHB has been very successful for many affiliates throughout the US.  Some raise enough funds through ReStore sales to build an additional 10 or more houses per year.

In addition to raising funds, the ReStore helps the environment by diverting thousands of tons of usable materials away from landfills. 

Items sold by Habitat for Humanity ReStores are usually donated from individuals, building supply stores, or contractors who wish to show their support for Habitat. In addition to raising funds, ReStores help the environment by rechanneling good, usable materials into use.
